We will shortly be moving to the next priority group for vaccination – people aged 45-49 years old. This is a very large group, requiring a phased approach, so the first round of appointments will be for those aged 49 and 48 (as at 23 March 2021). Please look out for the blue envelopes – if you cannot attend your scheduled appointment, please use the contact details in your letter to rearrange. We would ask the rest of those in this cohort to continue to be patient as we work our way through a significant number of people.

If you are aged 50 or over, or in one of the other priority groups, and have not yet received your first dose appointment, please get in touch as a matter of urgency. You can either use the Missing Appointment form on the NHS Inform website or, if you have already completed this and not received a response, please call the appropriate local contact centre:

The online carers’ registration portal remains open until midnight on Sunday 25 April, but individuals can still call the national helpline (0800 030 3018) after that date to register for an appointment as an unpaid carer.

Household members of those who are on the shielding list due to being immunosuppressed are now eligible for priority vaccination and the Scottish Government are sending letters to those shielding for that purpose to direct their household contacts to the national helpline.

We remain incredibly grateful to everyone in Grampian who has come forward for vaccination and to every single person working on the programme. The success of this programme is the product of your collective efforts. Thank you.
